Share rides to Big Wow! with Ridejoy!
April 16, 2012
Big Wow! ComicFest today announced that they are partnering with Ridejoy, a social transportation tech startup, to provide a ridesharing platform for Big Wow Comicfest attendees.
As Northern California's Longest-Running Comic Book Convention, Big Wow ComicFest has always been focused on delivering an incredible experience for its guests and attendees. To build on these efforts, we have partnered with Ridejoy to help attendees share rides to and from the event.
Big Wow! ComicFest attendees can join the dedicated rideboard where they can create accounts, review profiles, offer or request rides to the San Jose Convention Center and connect with other comic book fans.
"We're very excited to partner with Ridejoy for Big Wow! ComicFest 2012," says Tatiana Dykes, Operations Manager "Ridesharing is great for the environment, helps drivers save on gas, cuts down on parking and congestion issues and is a great way to meet new people who are passionate about comic book art."
Big Wow! ComicFest attendees can arrange rides directly on the Ridejoy platform and even pre-pay for gas costs using a secure payment processing system. After the trip there is an opportunity to leave feedback on other users, ensuring accountability.
