In 2008 Terrance Zdunich rose to fame as the fan-favored GraveRobber in the science fiction horror film REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA, a project he nurtured from page to stage and screen for over ten years serving as writer, composer, director, producer and actor through its various incarnations. A veteran storyboard artist with a degree in Illustration from Otis College of Art and Design, Zdunich has worked behind the scenes on many noteworthy film, television and animation projects. It is little known that his artistic handiwork can be seen in the REPO! animated sequences.
In 2009 Zdunich returned to his drawing roots and began working on a new illustrated endeavor, THE MOLTING COMIC, a loosely biographical and independently published twelve-part graphic novel. Set in the early ‘90s, THE MOLTING tells the tale of a dysfunctional American family living in the so-called “Happiest Place on Earth” exploring the horror and beauty of everyday life in the wake of tragedy. THE MOLTING was heralded as the “Best Horror Comic Series of the Year” by Comic Related in 2010.
Zdunich is also working on his sophomore cinematic collaboration with director Darren Lynn Bousman- the upcoming musical THE DEVIL'S CARNIVAL. In THE DEVIL'S CARNIVAL, sinners are invited to a theme park where they endure the repetition of their transgressions. Lucifer and his colorful cast of singing carnies guide these lost souls through their wild, warped amusement park. The pilot episode features twelve original songs, written by Zdunich and Saar Hendelman, performed by a star-studded assembly of actors and musicians including Emilie Autumn, M. Shawn "clown" Crahan, Briana Evigan, Sean Patrick Flanery, Jessica Lowndes, Ivan L. Moody, Marc Senter, Paul Sorvino and Alexa Vega
